Mountain Living - December 2014
Snow for the holidays!
Snow is falling as I write these words this winter afternoon. The good news is the temperature will probably not fall enough to allow any accumulation today. However, in the future if snow or ice accumulates on our roads, please know our roads maintenance contractor is prepared to clear them with salt, sand, and brine that we have stockpiled on site.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and had a chance to be with your families. Thanksgiving is one of those special celebrations that families should be together to reflect upon the many blessings that have been bestowed upon us by our Creator. Certainly, those of us who have been blessed to live in the wonderful community of Junaluska Highlands have much to be thankful for.
For this, the last President’s Corner message for 2014, I have elected to deliver a very short statement by saying I sincerely hope that everyone has a joyous and blessed Christmas season. Regardless of your beliefs, remember the true meaning of Christmas not just for one day, but carry the Christmas spirit throughout the coming year.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
Mac
